Current Conditions as of AUG 12 2008: LAKE LANIER 928am PoolElev (ft) 1054.30 - 24 Hour Change(feet) - 0.08 - 24 Hour Precip(inches) 0.00, Thats a decrease of 1 foot point 89 inches or almost 2 feet since our last report on July 2, 2008. Lake Lanier at 1054.30 is now 16 feet 7 inches below full pool, which is 1071.0.
With RAIN on the way which some have forecast to be heavy at times, we will see if it can put a small dent in the water level. At any rate, the welcomed rain will only be a temporary solution.
