Tropical Storm Chris is not expected to strengthen much before becoming a post tropical cyclone sometime late Wednesday 6/20 or early Thursday 6/21 as he moves over cooler waters.
As of 11 PM Tuesday 6/19/2012, Tropical storm Chris was accelerating east / southeastward in the open Atlantic away form the east coast. Chris is not expected to be of any concern for the U.S. mainland.
