Second Severe Weather Season

Most are aware of severe weather that occurs in the Spring.
Are you aware of the potential for severe weather in the Fall ?

The same ingredients that induce severe weather in the spring also provide for potentially severe weather in the Fall. Usually severe weather in fall spans anywhere from late October to early to middle November, usually. Severe weather can happen anytime during the year. As mentioned, severe weather in the fall happens for the same reason it does in the spring, warm air clashing with colder air as temperature differences across the US become greater.

While the second severe weather season is usually confined to the south and southeast, it has also occurred sporadically in other areas. The second severe weather season may not last as long as the spring, but the storms still cause damage and loss of life.
