The Easter weekend looks to be a nice one; who could ask for more ??
While the skies may not be dark with storms, there is a small chance of a pop-up thunder shower in the area this weekend.
The temperature will be on the warm side with highs in the upper 80's, pushing the dreaded 90° mark. It's to early for that, at least thats what my body says. But we've already been this close this year on April 9, it was 88°.
The humidity will be on the rise, and we know what that means. It'll be more uncomfortable and feel hotter.
Next week there looks to be another round of storms by Wednesday. Haven't narrowed down the specifics yet as to whether they will be severe or not.
Current Bufkit soundings hint at the possibility Wednesday evening and night, with high cape helicity values and shear. At this time it appears the further north, the stronger these storms will be.
We'll know more as time goes as that system is still 5 days away.
So have a wonderful Easter weekend, and eat those eggs after you find them. On second thought, better not. They haven't been kept in the fridge.
